The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile 'Agency Company report on their sales: — At Waiuku.—Dairy cows and heifers sold at from £3 15s to £8 10s; empty-cows, £2 los to £4; 18-months to two-year-old, £3 10s to £4 12s 6d; yearlings to £2 6s ; calves, 15s to 335. Pigs, weaners, to 10s.' Furniture and. sundries at satisfactory prices. At the Westfield yards.—Ox beef old to 21s per 1001b; cow and heifer, 18s to 20s; steers sold at •■from £5 5s to £9 17s 6d; cows and heifers, £3 10s to £7. Calves were in good supply, and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers sold to £4; medium, £1 to £2 ss; others, 3s to los. There was a good yarding of sheep, which was principally made up of ewes, which declined in price. Wethers sold fully up to last week's quotations. "Best wethers sold at from. 17s 9d to 19s 6dpothers,' 12s 9d to 15s 9d; ewes,, 8s to 14s. Lambs were penned in usual numbers, and sold at late rates/ Best lambs sold to los; others, 6s to 12s.
