A VESSEL WRECKED
[BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.] [PEE PBEBS ASSOCIATION.! Adelaide, April 26. A wreck has apparently occurred off Yorke's reninsuiar, as two. men were seen clinging to a spar. Assistance lias been sent. Melbourne, April 26. A cyclonic storm swept across tlio bay to-day. A lighter" with several thousand ingots of tin moored alongside the P. and O. steamer Morea broke adrift and collided violently with the Orient steamer Orvieto and foundered. The master of the lighter and his wife and a seaman were rescued with difficulty. (Received April 27, 9 a.m.) Adelaide, April 27. A message received from Warooka reports that an unknown vessel was wrecked near Brutus Point, fourteen miles west of Warooka. Boats were despatched to rescue the men seen clinging to the masts, and have not yet returned. During a gale" at Adelaide harbour, the Huddarfc,Parker coal lighter Excelsior broke adrift and collided with the barque Oriente. The lighter sank, but the barque was not damaged.
