Mr Hughes, Governor of New York State, succeeds Mr Justice Brewer as Judge of the Supreme Court, after qualifying for hi s new position, during the October term. >ir Hughes as Justice will be expected to hold the balance of power in the Court's decision in the actions against trusts.
