Mr I* 1 . Boyes, who has been spending a holiday in the South Island and Australia for the benefit of his health, returned home on Thursday much improved, having had a most enjoyable
trip. The Kairanga County Council have just about finished the new concrete bridge across Jack's Creek in place of the old decayed one. The bridge is both ornamental and strong, and is a credit to the Council's overseer, Mr T. Bastin. by whom the work has been carried out.
