In the musical programme at tomorrow's flower show there will be several vocal numbers by ladies new to Feilding audiences. 'At the annual meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board Messrs Styles (chairman), Hennessey, Gardiner, Nash and Wood were' present. Mr Hennessey was elected president, Mr Styles- declining to stand. The Minister .for Marine wrote in reference to the Board acquiring the right of the wharf, that ho was sending departmental officers to report, and would Jet the Board know as soon as possible. It was decided to write the Manawata County Council that the Board annually a Joan ■tor the Beach road, but required an ■estimate of the rates likely to accrue. Nineteen steamers and one vessel had arrived and 20 steamers and one vessel had departed during the month.
