COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS
GENERAL WANT OF INTEREST.
BY KLECmiC TELEGRAPH—GOrYHIGHT. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. London March 7. There are small polls and genera, apathy in regard to the London County Council elections. Only 48 per cent, of the voters went to the poll. In the recount for Central FiusInuy, the remaining seat, Mr Hamphill (Progressive) and Mr Rosb'Hi (Moderate) both polled 3460. Of the aldermen continuing in office, nine are Moderates and two Progressives, therefore a Moderate ii'ajj rity is assured. Two ladies were elected, including Mies Adler, daughter of the Clref lUbbi. The Moderates secured a plurality of 39,663 votes.
