FEILDING CLUBMEN AT THE
WICKETS
On the South Street ground yesterday afternoon members of theFeilding Club played a friendly match, the object being to make a selection of the team to play the Feilding seniors. Messrs, F. D. Clayton and G. Manning were the respective 7 ' captains. Mr Manning's team hatted first and scored 135 runs, W. Shannon makui S 54 and then retiring unbeaten. D. M. Montgomery made a score of 43, and Bruce Luxmoore 20 Mr Clayton's team were sent to the right-about for 36, Tnrnbull (11) he- '"!§., c °". ] - v double-figure scorer. Tn a Vect?;yl-i-?W>»os.-.M.r-Clayton's team made 69 for seven wickets Tfcbct" (18), Banks (29), and Mostyn Jones (lo) being the double-figure batsmen.
