PENALTIES: FLAT RACES. — The winner of any flat race exceeding 80 sovb. in value after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Hones handicapped at Bst 101 bor over to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES.— The winner oi any hurdle raoe after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 bip the hurdle races, and for every additional raoe 71b extra. NOMINATIONS for all races, except Maiden Scurry, close on MONDAY, 15th March, at 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for first day's races will be declared on or about Monday, 29th March. For seoond days' races will be declared on the night of the firßt day'B races at abont 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES for first day's races and Entries for MAIDEN SCURRY • close on SATURDAY, 3rd April, 1909, at; 8.30 p.m. For second day's races will close on the night of the first day's races at 9 p.m. with the Secretary at his office, Feilding. [ RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries must be addressed to the Secretary, Feilding Jockey Club, ' Feilding, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, 1 names of owner and trainer, pedigree, colours of the rider, and in case of Handicaps where horses have not j previously started on the Feilding Course, performances of the horse. Entrance moneys to go to the funds of the Club. 2. Entries by telegrams most give full particulars of the horse and must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity, otherwise a fine of 1 boy. will be imposed. 3. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. 4. All persons intending to withdraw bones are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary one half-hour before the official time for starting the race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this shall pay a fine ,to be imposed by the Stewards, not exoeeding 20 soys. to the Raoe Fund. .■ 6. All races to be run under tho N.Z. Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Racing Conference of N.Z. 6. Prior to any race the Stewards may order a parade in front of the stand. Any noree absent from auch fr parade at the time notified in the programme, without the permission of the Stewards, will be fined 9 soya. 7.
