ANOTHER ERUPTION. ] GREAT QUANTITY OF ASH EJECTED. [PBB FBEBB ASSOCIATION.] ' Auckland, Match 18. ! The Star's Taupo correspondent > wires : — "At a quarter to six this morning ! another eruption of Ngauruhoe occ urred. A great quantity of ash was eject- , ed and fell on the Waimarino Plains. A splendid view of the mountain was obtained in an almost cloudless sky. The eruption was followed by a diminution of smoke from the crater.
