PENALTIES: FLAT RACES.— The winner of any flat race exceeding 30 sovb. in value after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Horses handicapped at Bst 101 bor over to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES— The winner ol any hurdle race after declaration oi weights to carry a penalty of 101 bin the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71b extra. NOMINATIONS for all races, except Maiden Scurry, close on MONDAY, 15th March, alt 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for first day's races will be declared on or about Monday, 29th March. For second days' races will be declared on the night of the first day's races at about 8 p.m. I ACCEPTANCES for first day's races and Entries for MAIDEN SCURRY close on SATURDAY, 3rd April, 1909, at 8.30 p.m. For second day's races will close on the night of the first day's races at 9 p.m. with the Seoretary at his office, Feilding. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries must bo addressed to the Secretary, Feilding Jot key Club, ! Feilding, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, , names of owner and trainer, pedigree, j colours of the rider, and in case of Handicaps where horses have not ; previously started on the Feilding ! Course, performances of the horße. Entrance moneys to go to the funds of the Club. I 2. Entries by telegrams must give , full particulars of the horse and must . be confirmed in writing at the earli- ; est possible opportunity, otherwise a fine of 1 soy. will be imposed. 3. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. 4. All perrons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Seoretary one half-hour before the official* time I for starting the race. Any person j neglecting or refusing to comply with thu shall pay a fine ,to be Imposed by ; the Stewards, not exceeding 20 soys. to the Race Fund. 6. All races to be run under the N.Z. Ruleß of Racing, as adopted by the Racing Conference of N.Z. 6. Prior to any race the Stewards may order a parade in front of the stand. Any horse abient from such parade at the time notified in the programme, without the permission of the Stewards, will be fined 3 sots. 7.
