FIVE BANDITS STRANGLED IN SPAIN. RESULT OF A SEARCH. An epidemic of crime among Spanish gipsies has resulted in the condemnation of five of them to death. The public executioners of Madrid and Seville were sent to Cordova to assist) the Qocal executioner at the garrotting of three gipsies. The condemned men murdered two gendarmes near Valenzuela. Two more gipsies were gar.rotted at Seville. They recently assassinated three- gendarmes in a railway train, near Jerez, after being arrested for highway robbery. Six gipsies are now on trial at Madrid for fatally stabbing another gipsy at the local cattle market a few weeks ago. The president of the court, after listening to evidence regarding : the lawlessness' of gipsies in the vicinity of the capital, ordered the court attendants to search all the spectators, the majority of whom were friends of the prisoners .
