NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Oroua County Council, held on FRIDAY, sth day of February. 1909, the following resolution was adopted :— That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and the Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1909, the Oroua County Council hereby • resolves as follows: — That for the purpose of providing the interest at 3* per centum per annum and other charge's on a Loan of £230 authorised to be raised by the Oroua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of providing for the construction of works setforth in the proposal giving notice of the intention to raise such loan as advertised in the Feilding Star, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one-sixth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all the rateable value of all rateable properties, comprising the whole of the area included in Lots 1/21. section I. part II section Ib, sections 2 and 185 suburban, to he called "Kimbolton Road Special Rating District No. 24 Loan." And that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates payable during' the currency of such loan at the Council Chambers, Foikling, halfyearly, on the first day.s ot April and October in each year for a ]>eriod of 41 years or until the Loan is fully paid off. It is the intention of the said Council to pay out of the said loan the cost of raising same. It is hereby further notified that a Special Meeting of the Council will Jbo held in the Council Chambers, Feilding, on SATURDAY, the sixth day of March, 1909, at 2 p.m. to confirm the above Special Order. And that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates payable during the currency of such loan at the Council Chambers, Feilding, halfyearly, on the first days of April and October in each year for a period of 41 years or until the Loan is fully j paid off.
