McArtney took one wicket for 41 • Emory, three for 115* Cotter, tihree for 82; Hopkins, four for 56. New South Wales, in the second iniugs, made 146 — Bardsley 31 ; and McArtney, not out, 39, being the J chief scorers. Vernon took three wickets for 50; Layer, two for 27; Hazlett, two for 26. Victoria thus won by an innings and 47 runs.
