SECOND DAY. Auckland, Dec. 30. • Tbe seoond day of the Auokland meeting was held to-day. Tbere was a good attendance. The course is in good order. The weather is dull, with a strong westerly breese blowing. Results:— Bowen Handioap. — Dogger Bank], Ngapuke 2. Hohungatatu 3. Scratched: Explosive. Hohungatatu led to Hhe distance, where Dogger Bank cam© through, and drew out, winning by two, (lengths. Time, 1.17. ft>neonby Hurdles. — Waibekai 1, Reservoir % Luscombe 3. Scratched: Okaihou, San Panto. Waihekau Was in front all the way, winning by a length. Time, 3.23 l-sth.
