OTAGO v. AUCKLAND. [PEB PRBSB ABBOOIATIOV.I Auckland, December 29. The weather was dull and showery for the resumption of the cricket match, Otago v. Auckland, With seven runs on the board, heavy rain caused a stoppage of play for a quarter of an hour. Scoring proceeded slowly till twenty was scored, when rain again stopped the play. A couple of chances to run the batsmen out were lost by faulty fielding. Play became very monotonous until Fisher clean bowled MacCormick. with the total at 43 t the retiring batsman having made 13 ; Robinson (not out) 20.
