It is reported in Venezuela that exPresident Castro {telegraphed to the ringleaders of the conspiracy against General Gomez advising them to kill the serpent, crush its head, and so terrorise the people of Caracas. The cablegram is likely to form the basis of a criminal impeachment and an attempt to secure the permanent extradition of Castro.
