AN EXHIBITION.
TECHNICAL SCHOOL WORK. INTERESTING DISPLAY. Yesterday afternon the Art Exhibition of the Technical School was opened to visitors, and was very liberally patronised. There was a stream of people going into the Technical School building duriug the hours the exhibition was open to the public, both in the afternoon and evening. In the cookery room were displayed some tempting specimens of the culin-ary-art, very tastefully laid out. This exhibition was accompanied by a show of needlework, which was very much admired. Both these exhibits were the sole work of pupils of the school. In another room was set out a collection containing repousse work, plumbing, aud wood work. Some excellent exhibits were on view, each section being well represented. Ujk stairs was set out the painting class exhibit. Included in the paintings were a really fine representation of a bowl of popples, a picture of a basket of quinces," and many other works which are Tei^By worth going to see. The exhibition will be open from 3 to 5 o'clock this afternoon.
