The first half ended: Queensland 5, from a try by Dore, the Maoris nil. In the second" ihalf the Maoris made tlie pace hot. They -kept Queensland strictly on the defence giving fihem no chances to add to their score. Asher scored two, ~and Tuki one try, two ot whioh were converted.
