ON Bth July, special passenger train will leave Marton 9.5 a.m. (after connecting with 6.0 a.m. train from Taihape), Feilding 10.3 a.m., for Palmerston. Return special will leave Palmerston 5.25 p.m., Feilding 6.10 p.m., arriving Marton 7.20 p.m., connecting with evening train for Taihape. The usual 12.30 p.m. goods train, with car attached, will be delayed to leavo Marten at 1.5 p.m., Feilding 2.10 p.m., arriving Palmerston 2.50 p.m. The usual 4.50 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston 5.0 p.m. for Wanganui. Holiday excursion tickets, available for return till 9th July, will be issued to Palmerston from Taihape and intermediate stations by morning trains only on Bth July. The standard business basis I have always traded upon is to buy the very primest ox beef and the choicest of mutton and other stock procurable, and an examination of the Abattoirs returns will prove this assertion. To buy or sell anything • but the very best, I positively decline, and my reasons must be very obvious to a right-thinking and intelligent public. Under the circumstances, I think it well to make this explanation to my customers, to convince them that it would be absurd and impossible for me to enter in any cheap meat competition.
