IN THE WAIRARAPA.
Masterton, March 29. The annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club was held on Saturday night, and was the largest and most enthusiastic meeting in the history ot the Club. Mr J. Adams, an exMelrose player, was elected captain, and Mr J. Dugan, ex-member of the Athletic Club, Wellington, vice-cap-tain - Mr J .O'Meara was elected patron; Mr E. Welch, president; and Messrs J. C. Ewington, W. S. Lett> and B. Ixeson, vice-presidents. It was decided to invite Melrose team to play a match against the Stars on Easter Saturday, at Masterton. Amongst the new players in the Star ranks will be W. De Blois (Melrose Senior), M'Cill (Petone), and Hebley (Petone). ________^__ — __
