annual"meeting. success of feilding men. On Saturday the second annual shoot of the Kangitikei Rifle Association took place on the Bulls range. Fifty competitors took part, representing the Marton, Mangaweka, Turakma, Sandon, Ohakea and Halcombe Rifle Clubs, the Manchester and Royal Rifles, and the Hunterville Mounted Rifles. The shooting was somewhat below the average, a changeable wind being experienced. The teams' match was won by the Manchester Rifles, only two of whom did not win a prize.
