Price, the South Australian Premier, and head of a Labour Government Party, responding to tlw toast of 'his health at the Bristol Chamber of Commerce banquet, deolared that he. possessed the confidence of every banker and merchant in South Australia. He wished to remove the fears and misconceptions, entertained in London regarding Australian politics. His advice was: "Do . not judge until you understand." His object in visiting Bristol was to make commercial friends and facilitate the sale of flour, fruit, wheat, wool, and wane. He explained the development of South Australia, and indicated that there was plenty of land available, on easy terms, for British settlers. There was room there for millions.
