JOCKEYS DISQUALIFIED.
On Wednesday night last at a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan committeo the riding licenses of Ben Deeley and J. J. Conquest were cancelled. No further particulars are at present to hand, but Deeley's disqualification will cause a bit pf a stir in northern racing circles, as he has had an exceptional run of luck this season, and was easily at the head of the list of winning jockeys. He rode Kareroa to victory on Wednesday last at New Plymouth.
