Brooks, a London and North-West-ern Railway Company's detective, was found in possession of 31 skeleton keys, a jimmy and file for altering keys. , He has been sentenced to three years' imprisonment for several robberies on the lino between Llandudno (North Wales) and Wolverhampton. The Court ordered the company to pay £600, value of certain jewels lost on that section. Brooks travelled on the same corridor train as the owners of the jewels. Five porters and a clerk also have now been arrested in connection with robberies at Euston. £350 worth of stolen goods have been recovered.
