Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having a' medium yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Palmerston North salo on Thursday, all of which met with a fair demand at following prices: — 4-6 and f.f.m. ewes 15s id, s.m. ewes Bs, 2-tooth wetbers, small 10s, black-faced lambs ss, cull Jambs 3s 2d, aged Lincoln rams 1 guinea, 2tooth Southdown rams 3-Jgns, weaner steers and iheifers 19s, empty cows 34s to 365, vealers 20s, store cows 17s, bulls £2 15s, 3-J-year forward bullocks £5 19s 6d, 4-year forward bullocks £4 15s. 0 Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report : — At Palmerston on Thursday a good demand existed for all classes of stock and with the exception of one pen of store wethers a clearance was made at satisfactory prices.
