The winner of any flat race exceeding 30 soys. in value after declaration of weights to carry c a penalty of 101 b., and of every addi--8 tipnal race a further penalty of 61b. ._ Horses handicapped at Bst. 101 b. to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES.— The winner of a any Hurdle Race after declaration - of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71bs extra. NOMINATIONS. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Feilding, with the name and age at time of j entry, name of owner, pedigree, colors of the rider, and performances of the horse. 2. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. 8. Any owner failing to declare his colors at time of entry will be fined 1 soy, unless they are registered. 4. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the _ Racing Conference of New Zealand. 5. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for declara- ~ tion of weights, nominations, or ac ° ceptances. as they may deem fit. 6. Hack means a horse that has uot won at time of entry, a race of the value of 100 soys., or races of the collective value of 250 soys.
