ROTORUA ACCIDENT.

When the Court of Inquiry into Rotorua railway accident resumed this morning, Mr Kettle, h.M,, asked* the driver and the two firemen if they would attend without subpoenas, and if they wished to be represented by counsel. . They replied in the affirmative, and pointed out that their counsel wo.uld be at a disadvantage, as they, as witnesses, were out of Court. Mr Kettle said he had alreads given a decision on this point. There were no sides to th© inquiry. One man, after consulting Mr Baume, his solicitor, outside the Court, stated that unlea sthey were allowed to remain in Court their counsel would not appear. Mr Kettle suggested they should consider the question of engaging other counsel and adjourned the Court till Thursday.
