SCOTCH LAND BILL.
Received August 24, 7.88 a ra. London, August 28. Referring to the abandonihent of the Scottish Land BiH, Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman stated he had received assuranoes from all sides that those interested in the measure had loyally acquiesced in the oourse whioh the Government considered the best policy and tactics. Unionists greeted this remark with derisive cheering.
