At a meeting of the Canterbury Dairymen's Employees' Union, held on Friday evening, motions were carried strongly urging the Government to establish State flour mills, and urging the establishment of a State Bank. It was also unanimously decided to support the candidature of Mr J. A. McCulkmgh for the position of workers' representative on the Arbitration Court.
