Messrs Dalgetty and Co., Ltd., report on their Palmerston North sale on 13th inst., as follows: — We had a small yarding of sheep most of which were quitted at satisfactory prices. • Medium lambs to 10s 6d, fat and for- ! ward wethers 18s 2d, fat wethers 19s ' 2d. A medium yarding of cattle I ;;old as follows: — 2$ to 3-year steers £4 10s; 2i-year steers, £3; 15-' month steers, £1 4s; sound-mouth breeding ewes, 14s. j Messrs Abraham and Williams, I Ltd., report — 1 At Palmerston on Thursday a ! small entry of sheep met a fairly : good demand and all lots wore disposed of at satisfactory prices. A ! good clearance was also made with the cattle, young stjers especially 1 selling readily.
