Sores of long standing, or abrasions of any kind, turns, scalds, or cuts may be quickly healed by the following simple lemedy:— Bathe with warm water (boded) and place over the wound a piece of lint or soft white rag, thiokly spread l with a soothing salve such a BEE OINTMENT. Cut the lint to the stae of the wound only, and bandage to keep the dressing in its place. After the first application of the omtment the wot Lad should not he watted, as too much contact with water produces "proud flesh," or, to use the surgical term "spurious granulation."
