Gorton and Son report : — , . At Feilding on Friday we had a good yarding of both sheep and oattle. Forward wethers and good breeding ewes sold weU, but competition for other sorts was not keen. We quote:— Superior two-tooth ewes in lamb, 265; mixed age ewes in lamb, 148 3d to 16s; one pen, 18s; fat and forward wethers, real good tine, 19i 4d; forward ewes and wethers, 17s 10s; fat ewes, 16s 6d; store ewes. 10? 9d ; wether lambs, 13s 6d r mixed lambs, small, 10s 3d to 10s 9d; culls, 7s 3d. Cattle: 15-montii heifers, 28s 6d; fat heifers, £8 to £8 15s; fat oows, £4 10b jstbre cows, 96s to £2; springing heifers, £3 to £3 10i; springing cows, £3. ( - Mr Koberstein's sale on Saturday was well attended by buyers, Jidtli looal and from a distance, and »iL#class sale resulted. The cows were a grand line and realised from £8 ios to £11 6s, with an average of £6 5s 4d over the herd of 55 oows. VTe quote: — Ewe lambs, 14a 9d; sows in pig, £8 17s eel to £4 10s; porkers, 15s to 16s; slips, 6s; weanere, 4s 9d to 7s; p.b. weaners, 10s to £1 s>; unbroken 3-year geldings, £30; crippled 3-year draught, £6 10s; bojrs pony, £6; springing £4;, bullß, 36» to £3 12s 6d; poultry and sundries at full rates.
