OTAKI RACING CLUB.

Wellington, June 4. Unfavorable weather was experienced for the concluding day of the Otaki Maori Meeting. Rain fell through? out the day without intermission. The course was heavy and the enclosures a sea of mud. The attendance was small. The sum of £4960 was passed through the tote, making £16,612 for the meeting. This amount is £1335 ahead of last year's figures. Results: —

Telegraphic Hack Handicap. — Warlock 1, Playmate 2, Idealist 3. Scratched: Toa Tuhi. Time, lmin Bsec. Divs, £6 Is and £3 3s. Huia Handicap. — Kuku 1, Waitapu 2, Montigo 3. Scratched : Sir Tristram, Marguerite, Naptha. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 58sec. Divs, £1 17s and £1 19s.

Hack Hufdles.— Bonheur 1, Hurimoana 2, Romary Lad 3. Scratched: Stayboy. Time, 3min llsec. Divs, £2 18s and £ 1 Is.
