BOROUGH COUNCIL.
A speciaT meetfng of the Feilding Borough Counci| was held last night to consider the estimates for the current -ear. Present— Mr W. J. B. Trewin (Mayor), and Crs. Atkinson, Tolley, Cobbe, Darragh, West, Fitzberbert, Bramwell, and Goodbehere. The estimatee were gone through, 1 and adopted as follows : — £ s. d.
To meet this amount of expenditure on the General Account, it will be necessary to strike a general rale of 2tf in tfie &, which will provide £3@99 14s M, the total being made up witfe other sources of revenue.
