INDIAN TROUBLE IN FIJI.
[MB FBBBS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, May 22. News from Fiji .states that the Executive Council discussed the best means of dealing with the Punjabis who recently caused trouble, but the result of their deliberations was not made public. Meantime the mal- ' contents were ordered to be distributed between Ba, Lautoka and Labasa, ! but they refused to be separated. A ; police force, twenty strong, proceeded to enforce the order. The Indians did not resort to any violence, " and they were finally landed on the L three Islands named. On arrival ' at Lautoka that section of the malcontents refused to be separated, ' but it is expected they will be in- [ duced to adopt that course without further trouble on the. return of a ! cumber of policemen now absent.
