Abraham and Williams report on their Johnaonville sale yesterday: — We had a full entry of bullocks. Most of the beef were rough sorts. A line of extra mime heavy bullocks were offered. Beef made up to 21s per 1001 b, extra prime ox £9 1.7s 6d to £10 17s 6d, lighter sorts £8 10s to £9, rough £8 to £8 7s 6d. There was a fair yarding of sheep, most of which sold freely. Heavy ewes 19s, others 16s, light 14s 7d to 16s, lambs 16s to 166. Dalgety and Co. report:— We held our fortnightly sale at Stortford Lodge. Hastings yesterday, when we offered a good yarding to a large attendance of buyers.
