Abraham and Williams report on their Johnaonville sale yesterday: — We had a full entry of bullocks. Most of the beef were rough sorts. A line of extra mime heavy bullocks were offered. Beef made up to 21s per 1001 b, extra prime ox £9 1.7s 6d to £10 17s 6d, lighter sorts £8 10s to £9, rough £8 to £8 7s 6d. There was a fair yarding of sheep, most of which sold freely. Heavy ewes 19s, others 16s, light 14s 7d to 16s, lambs 16s to 166. Dalgety and Co. report:— We held our fortnightly sale at Stortford Lodge. Hastings yesterday, when we offered a good yarding to a large attendance of buyers. Fat cows brought £6 6s, station bred weaner heifers £1 11s, fat 2-tooth wethers 14s 7d, fat ewes 13s 6d to 16s Id, soundmouth empty ewes up to 11s. Dalgety and Co. report:— At our Marion sale we had a fair yarding of sheep, and all sold at . satisfactory prices. Two-tooth ewes in lambs 21s Bd, f.f.m. ewes\l6s, fat and forward «wes J2s Id to 14s 3d, lambs 10s 9d to 13s 2d, cull lambs 8s sd. There ra medium yarding of cattle; to 4-year bullocks £6 10s, 2} to Syear *4 10s, mixed weaners 81s, b>ifer weaners 18s, fat cows £6*.
