THE WHEAT MARKET.
+ [FKB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, May 18. The wheat and flour markets have been more or less agitated during the week, owing to the advance in outside markets, which has been reflected locally. At the beginning of the week, flour rose from £8 10s to £9 a ton, and a further rise took place yesterday. Quotations for sacks are now £9 10s, and for 1001 b Lags £1, and proportional rises for 501 b and 251 b bags. Wheat advanc-e-J from Id to 2d during the week, and a rise in the price of bread is indicate! for next week.
