A tennis match took place this morning on the Oroua courts between tlie girls of the Palmerston and Feilding High Schools, and after a close and enjoyable game resulted in a win for the visitors by 6 games, the scores being — Palmerston 78 games, Feilding 72 games. The games resulted as follows, the Palmerston competitors' names appearing first in each instance:— Bailey 8, Hare 2 ; Richter 1, Niccolls 9 ; Kenlake g, J. Crabbe 2 j Forsaith 1, Irwin 9 ; West 6, Hostiok 4; Cook 6, Mountfort 5; Were 6, Gould 4; Grant 3, Williamson 7; Harris 5, Burrell 5 ; McKenzie 3, E. Crabbe 7; Bailey and McKenzie 10, Burrell and E. Crabbe 0; Forsaith and Kenlake 7, Irwin and J. Crabbe 3; Richter and West 6, Niccolls and Hostiok 4 ; Were and Cook 2, Gould aud Mountfort 8; Bailey and Evans 7, WtUiamson and Hare 3.
