A Labour caucus is discussing the question with a view of suggesting a compromise whioh will more nearly respect the rights of New South Wales than persistency over the Dalgety site can possibly do. Tbe Contract Immigration Bill, designed to modify existing restrictive conditions imposed in regard to contract labour, has been passed by the House.
