FEILDING WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE REPORT.

Atkinson reports : — At my monthly sale on Thureclay I offered 49 bales and 140 bag lots of wool, 700 skins, 450 hides, and a large quantity of tallow, horsehair, bones, etc. There was a good attendance of buyers and brisk com petition, and the catalogue was cleared with rates all rouud well maintained. Tbe fleece wool offered was mostly coarse crossbred of medium quality, and realised good r value, one line of six bales making J lOd. Quotations : — Wool Medium bright crossbred 9|d to lOd ; coarse do, B|d to 9£d ; inferior and log-stained, 7f d to H\d ; dead, good B£d to 9d l . dead, medium 8d to Bsd ; do inferior and dirty, 7d to 8d ; inferior crutchings, s|d to 6£d ; washed pieoes, 7£d ; do dirty, Ud to Ghd ; bellies and locks, 2£d to 6d.
