Messrs F. F. Haggitt and & Burae, J s.P., presided r 4 t the PoUce Court this morning. J. Bottle for beisg drunk in a rjilway carriage at Feilding on December Ist was fined ss, in default 24 hours' imprisonment. Chas. Watson for being drunk on a railway station platform was fined 5b or 24 hours* imprisonment;. Defendant explained to the Bench that b* had been "mixing the drinks."' The Bench, when inflicting the fine,, said they would deal more leniently with him than the combination of drinks had done. W. Millen foe trspassing on theFeilding Racecourse and failing to> leave the same when requested, wafffined £1 and £1 solicitor's fee. a ?, ay ' * n ** simil *r charge, was; fined £1 and solicitor's fee £1. Defendants had only gone inside of the» gate and did not mix with the people. f, Wilkinson and A. Moras, for laying "tote" odds on the Feilddng Racecourse were fined £2 each, and ordered to pay 10a witness' expenses.
