AUSTRIA AND HUNGARY.
Telegraph PreßS Association Oooynabt
Baron Gautsch made a conciliatory statement in the Reichsratb, implying that Austria desired a revision of her compact with Hun gary. When the application of the new commercial treaty was secured, there would follow a period of economic tranquihty. There has been serious street fighting at Brunn between Czechs and Germans. Two hundred were injured. It is feared the disturbance will ruin the promising efforts that are being made to reconcile the German and Czechs' parties in the Reichslath.
