The hearing of the case Dr Wall v Dr Porrifct commenced at the t Supreme Conrt yesterday, when . plaintiff claimed for a continuance ef the partnership between the two parties, together with L2OO damages, r including the return of a portion of B the premium. Plaintiffs case lasted j all day. On the Court resuming this morning, Mr Skerrett (for defendant) announced that a settlement had been agreed upon as follows— Dr Porritt 3 to return to plaintiff the £550 B premium, half the actual receipts and lf and book debts less £40 ;Dr Wall to. r account to a receiver for his earnings; the partnership to be dissolved, each paying his own cost*; and the nursing home to go to Dr 3 Wall.'
