A Chief of Police Killed.
Received August 80, 847 a.m. Berlin, August 29. The Vossiche Zeitung reports that th6 Chief of Police at Czeustockhowa, in Poland, was killed by a dynamite bomb, and several of the bystanders were severely injured. St Petersburg, August 29. Three hundred and forty two Professors in the University of Odessa are abstaining from their duties until the people are given all civil rights and the Universities receive academic autonomy. Other Universities are imitating.
