Three young fellows reported to the Masterton : police on Saturday that they had seen a man supposed to be Ellis, wanted for the murder of Collinson at Te Awaite, near Dreyerton, on Wednesday. The police went out on Saturday, and though they went as far as Mauriceville, could find no trace of Ellis.
