Ifc/ A VALUABLE FOOD. *_ During the course of an interview, referring to the most strengthening foods which could be used by human beings, Mr Sandow (" the champion strong man") recalled the fact that a German chemist had discovered a process by which the albumen could be extracted from skim milk, and converted into a substance known as " plasmon." With a view of testing the nourishing properties of this preparation, Mr Sandow lived on it in its liquid form for seven weeks, taking three teaspoonfuls a day in water. The experiment was quite a success, and the strong man found no discomfort and no lessening of weight in the process.
