PANIC AT A THEATRE.
Telegraph. Press ABsociatioD.Copyrißht Melbourne, June 7. During a biographic entertainment at the Parnagulla Theatre a gas tube was leaking. The operator struck a match, and the explosion scattered tbe bricks used for weighting the aparatus down, in all directions. Several of the audience were struck, and a stampede followed. The escape door was fastened, and numbers clambered through the windows, and several were injured, but none severely. ;
