Telegraph Press Association. Copyright Ma.stekton> This Day. The Cup football match Masterton and Greytown ended in a draw, no score on either side. i At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Wairarapa Rugby Union on Saturday communication was received from the Southland Union, stating that probably Wairarapa would be included in their Northern tour. Makton, This Day. At a football match between Marton and Bulls, played at Marton on Saturday, Charlie Gibbons, playing for the former team, had his leg broken just above the ankle. The accident was caused through an opponent attempting to kick the ball at the same time, which they both missed, and their legs crossed. The Feilding School boys, in charge of Mr Fume, journeyed to Awahuri on Saturday, where they played the local team, and after an enjoyable game the Feilding boys proved victorious by H to nil. The first try was secured by W. Ryan after a smart run half way down the field. The same player also secured the second try making another good run, the ball coming from the scrum and passing through the hands of the backs. With a little more practice the school boys will show better combination in their play, which, considering the short time they have had, was very pretty during the match, especially the scrum work. A team representing the White Stars will journey to Halcombe on Wednesday, where they will play the local team.
