MARLBOROUGH GUN CLUB.
«. Telegraph Presa Association Copyright Blenheim, April 14. The Maryborough Gun Club's Annual Handicap Pigeon Match, of £100, was held to-day, at Marlborough Town, and was very successful. There was fine weather, but a strong wind arose to-wards the finish of the match. J. Grieg and Price, each on two nominations, and J. H. Redwood, E. Cheeseman, P. Redwood and G. Cheeseman, each on one nomination, killed the nine birds, they dividing the prize, taking £10 each, and shot off for the remaining £10 and medal. As the shooting off was occupying too long, it was decided by a double rise, Mr J. H. Kedwood finally winning. A number of sweepstake matches were also fired off. The town is crowded with visitors to the M.R.C. meeting, which promises to be the best held for many years.
