THE THIRD DAY.
The Show of the Manawatu A. and P. Association which concluded yesterday was a most decided success, and proved to a demonstration that the extension of the time for another ; day by the Committee, was desirable. Ot course some of the exhibitors of stock were not pleased with the change, and some former patrons kept away altogether, and that was to be regretted, yet we venture to assert that next year the grumblers will be satisfied, and those who kept away will again come forward to exhibit what they can do, in the way of rearing stock, at the best Show in the North Island, if not in the whole colony. One great advantage of the third day is that by this extra facility quite a large number of people, who otherwise would not have been able to get away from their work, were enabled to do so, and to enjoy a pleasant day's outing, and to see all that was to be seen on the ground. We hope that the " third day " will be continued for all time.
